What is the Gold Gas Safety Record?
This option is designed to help employers or business owners achieve full compliance with regulations. It includes a safety inspection of your appliance, flue AND installation pipework as well as a test for gas escapes. It combines with our Heatplans to fulfil your legal obligations under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations. Upon satisfactory completion we will provide you with written documentation and certification that is recognised by Corgi and industry bodies.

When will this be carried out?
We will complete a ‘Gold Gas Safety Record’ at the same time as your Heatplan service.

I am a Landlord with residential accommodation — how does this apply to me?
We will complete the ‘Landlord’s Gas Safety Record’ at the same time as your Heatplan service and you will receive a copy for yourself and a copy to give to your tenant(s) as required by the regulations.

What if I was already covered by Milgas?
If you already had Landlord’s certification or a Pipework Test with your contract we have replaced this with the Gold Gas Safety Record which will ensure continued compliance.

Where can I get more information about regulations that affect my business?
For advice, information and links to pages from a number of organisations including Corgi, Business Link and the Health and Safety Executive.

Does Milgas offer any other compliance services?
Milgas provides a whole range of compliance services for business including gas installation and repair, electrical servicing and testing and PAT testing. These can be purchased separately or as a total compliance package.
